To assist members in reducing their energy consumption we offer two different types of energy audits.

The first is an audit performed by a representative of the Co-op and consists of an inventory of all electrical items you have in your home or business. The inventory is entered into a spreadsheet that will show how much electricity each item is using and how much each item costs per month. With this information members can make conservation choices. There is no charge for this audit.

For the second type we've partnered with state certified auditors to perform a more comprehensive audit. Included with this audit is what's called a blower door test that will reveal areas of heat loss and missing insulation. There is a charge for this audit , but rebates offered by the Co-op can pay for most, if not all of this cost.
